The Design The motif side of the coin features a majestic iceberg in the ocean with two orcas swimming. The iceberg is carefully colored by our mint masters to show all hues of its real counterpart in the arctic seas.

Very early it became apparent that his real strength was spiritual leadership. Sitting Bull had empathy and the gift of oratory, the foundations of a charisma with which he could bring together the hostile tribal leaders to act together. He led 2,500 brave men into the Battle of Little Bighorn and caused the biggest defeat of the US Army in their war against the Native Americans. Before the battle Sitting Bull had a vision in which he saw many soldiers fall “like thick grasshoppers”, his people took this as foreshadowing of a great victory.
